Viola admission requirements for MA - Magister studies

  1. One scale through 3 octaves, one arpeggiated triad in the same key, also through 3 octaves.
  2. One etude by Vieux chosen by the candidate or Etude No.8 by Lukács.
  3. Bach: Chromatic Fantasia or the introductory movement of any fugue (from the Violin Solo Sonatas or Partitas) OR  Chaconne in D minor
  4. The outer movement of a concerto.
