- a two-part’s dictation (Baroque or Viennese classical period lengths with alterations)
- one part’s dictation (from the century of XIX., XX.)
- recognition of intervals (10 interval , all of them once sounded) the intervals have to be named.
- tonal interval-chain (8-10 interval playing continuously)
- a third voice to a given interval
Music Theory
Oral examination:
- third- chords, fourth-cords singing from a given voice
- Recognizing and naming the harmonic progression played by the teacher
- Chord thread after dictation, four-part harmonic accords with alterations in close voicing
- The knowledge and analysis of baroque and classic forms (eg rondo, sonata, variation, etc.) on the basis of a given material.
Written examination
- Recognizing, writing down, editing the third- chords, fourth-cords to a given voice
- Recognizing and editing modal scales
- brief harmonious example or a chorale writing down after hearing (in case of a chorale, two external parts are mandatory + numbered bass)
- chord connections, finishing the harmonious example
