András Fejér

He was born in 1967 in Budapest. His trombone studies ended by Gyula Gergely and István Péter Farkas . He graduated in Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Budapest in 1990 in Ferenc Steiner’s Class.
From 1983 he is a founding member of the Academia Brass Quintet. Between 1987 and 2000, he was a member of the Hungarian State Concert Orchestra, where in 1995, „Artist of the Year ” orchestral awards received. Since 1997, the soloist of the Deutsches Symphonie Orchestra Berlin. Between 2001 and 2006 he was assistant lecturer at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. In 2007 he attended the jury of the International Trombone Competition in Munich (ARD). First recording of its own single CD – released in 2000 in Hungaroton Classic “Name-Game” was
awarded with Artisjus Prize. This award was re-awarded in 2008. In 2010, another album of “Hungaroton Classic” was released under the title “C’est la vie” where nearly all the works were written for him. András Fejér was awarded with several international concerts in Prague (Prague Spring), Toulon and Munich (ARD). They regularly perform concerts in Hungary and throughout Europe.
