Conductor

Goal:
Expand the technical knowledge of the conduction. Acquire an artistic level of the tools of tempo, character, dynamics and form-control. Use of genre and stylistic knowledge related to different music history periods during the conduction. Preparing to lead professional bands.

Orchestral conduction:
Practical use of orchestral skills in orchestral conduction techniques when working with orchestra. The student then has to deal not only with the technical side of the conduction but also with at least an important part of the conducting work: he gives musical instruction and learns different ways of communicating with the orchestra.

Literature:
Processing of the complete repertoire written to orchestra (from baroque to contemporary music), thorough elaboration of the representative base repertoire

Content of the course:
1-2. semester: conducting and discussing works taken by the student or being handed over by the teacher
3-4. semester: preparation and elaboration of the program for graduate competition
