Classical department

 

Piano
  • Bach (2 binary inventions or 1 small prelude and 1 binary invention)li>

Deep Violin The viola can be completed with a recording violin and viola. The recording is to be played without sheet music. In the case of a violin performance, the program is the same as in violin classes.

Cello
  • Major and minor scale over three octaves. The scale is bound at least four and the treble at least three.

Folk song

Folk singing 3 folk song compilations of different dialect areas of the Carpathian Basin with a variety of melodies for genres, styles and folk songs.
Folk winder A tanuló a korábban tanult fafúvós hangszerén tudjon előadni:

  • At least five 4/4 meter slow cadence tunes
  • At least five 2/4 meter dancing or sleek tunes
  • At least five 2/4 or a 4/4-meter fast cadence (fast, fresh) melody
  • At least five parlando rubato tunes

Three-quarters of the songs or melodies should be octave or larger, and one-third should be old-style folk songs. You can sing at least half of the songs with lyrics.

Folk String, Koboz An authentic introduction to the musical world of two different regions, one of which should be Transylvanian.
Solfeggie The entrance examination requirement is the same as for the classical syllabus.

Jazz department

Zongora

  • Applicants for admission must have a basic classical proficiency at least at grade 3 at a music school.
  • During the entrance exam you will have to perform one free classical and two free jazz pieces of different character.

  • Playing any jazz etude (eg from Jim Snidero School or Herrer Saxophone School) or writing a solo (from any great artist eg Charlie Parker) .

Drum

Department of Art and Dance

Performing Arts –
For Grade 5 applicants:
 

  • Presentation of three poems or prose (preferably in different styles)
  • Performance of two folk songs of different characters

Performing Arts –
Applicants for Grade 9 and Post-Graduate OKJ Training:
We will take an aptitude test

  • Performance of three poems and three prose (preferably works of different styles and moods)
  • Performance of two folk songs of different characters
  • Performing an optional operetta or musical song with a base

Dance Candidates take part in contemporary and modern dance, ballet and creative classes, Hungarian folk dance classes, interviews and medical examinations if necessary.
